Early Animations

1: "Fantasmagorie"-1908   by Emile Cohl
An animated short done by hand drawn white on black background, one of the earliest examples of hand-drawn animation brought about simple animation of animated stickfigure like drawings and renditions.

2:"Gertie the Dinosaur"-1914  by Winsor McCay
Gertie the Dinosaur brought on great early examples of point perspective and foreshortening within an animation. There is also use of repeating frames to decrease animation workload.

3:"Steamboat Willie" -1928  by Walt Disney Animation Studio
Personally a phenomenal hand-drawn animation of today's well known character Mickey Mouse, coordinated well with a very fluid cartoon style we use today.
