To establish a logical coherence between time and space, taking life into one continuous frame and transitioning like dreams that jump between settings, characters and plots.

The act of transition between frame gives focus less on action and more on character for the desired attempt at the example.

Closeups:
Close ups give significance and importance to words, secrets and key conversation. It Hides or reveals information.

Early Animations

1: "Fantasmagorie"-1908   by Emile Cohl
An animated short done by hand drawn white on black background, one of the earliest examples of hand-drawn animation brought about simple animation of animated stickfigure like drawings and renditions.

2:"Gertie the Dinosaur"-1914  by Winsor McCay
Gertie the Dinosaur brought on great early examples of point perspective and foreshortening within an animation. There is also use of repeating frames to decrease animation workload.

3:"Steamboat Willie" -1928  by Walt Disney Animation Studio
Personally a phenomenal hand-drawn animation of today's well known character Mickey Mouse, coordinated well with a very fluid cartoon style we use today.

History of Animation

Animation has been in history since the people could create and interpret movement through picture transitions. One of the well known traditional styles of animation is Hand-drawn 2D, an example of this classic style is "Steamboat Willie"(1928)-Walt Disney. Another Technique of animation that far differs from hand-drawn 2D is stop-motion animation, in which physical figures or objects are slowly moved each frame to conjure movement in a collected reel. Today with the help of technology, animation has taken a huge leap to be rendered into 3D forms.
